We do, of course, sell traditional red roses, which have a long history with the romance scene for their iconic symbolism of passion, but we are also looking to divert some focus into the beauty of other flowers this year. Keeping to tradition

Naturally as a flower business we are going to love the traditional allure of red roses. The history of red roses has ties to Greek mythology with Aphrodite and her lover Adonis being caught in a conflict with a boar and Adonis being wounded, leading to Aphrodite crying over him and her tears mixing with his blood; from the mixture came a red rose bush.

The obvious takeaway by the majority is that these red roses were a physical manifestation of their love for each other and so in the past coming to the present this flower holds the same significance.

In our version of this floral romance, we add a few extras to really set the mood.
